🔎 Job Overview – Assistant Manager (Civil Projects)
This role focuses on execution and supervision of major industrial civil structures within power and energy projects. The position demands strong technical knowledge, contractor coordination ability, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
🏗️ Key Responsibilities
✅ Project Execution – Civil Works
You will execute and monitor critical civil structures including:
- TG & Boiler Foundations
- Chimney & Cooling Tower structures
- Bunker, Mill Bay, ESP & FGD foundations
- Pump houses & Reservoirs
- Water Treatment Plants
- Roads, drains & boundary works
You will supervise on-site construction activities such as:
- Shuttering & formwork
- Reinforcement placement
- Concreting & finishing
- Proper curing methods
👷 Site Supervision & Contractor Management
- Monitor daily contractor performance
- Ensure compliance with drawings & quality standards
- Track manpower & equipment deployment
- Enforce safety compliance and quality protocols
📐 Engineering Coordination & Drawing Review
- Review GFC drawings and reinforcement details
- Verify BOQs and quantities
- Coordinate with design teams for technical clarifications
- Assist in material take-offs and site revisions
🧪 Quality Assurance & Quality Control
- Implement QAP & ITP standards
- Conduct inspections before and after concreting
- Ensure cube testing & material testing compliance
- Close NCRs and address punch list items
📊 Planning & Reporting
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports
- Assist in micro-level scheduling
- Identify risks, delays, and resource shortages early
📏 Surveying & Leveling
Work with instruments such as:
- Total Station
- Auto Level
- Theodolite
Ensure proper alignment, marking, and level control.
🦺 Safety & Compliance
- Follow PTW and HIRA/JSA requirements

📑 Documentation & Billing Support
- Maintain RFI logs, cube test records, and measurement books
