Key Responsibilities
As a Billing Engineer, your primary role will involve managing all billing-related activities for infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation and verification of client bills as per project progress
- Handling BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and rate analysis
- Measurement and certification of work executed at site
- Coordination with project teams, site engineers, and contractors
- Ensuring accurate documentation and billing records
- Tracking project costs and assisting in cost control
- Preparation of running account (RA) bills and final bills
- Resolving billing discrepancies and supporting audits
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of project billing procedures
- Hands-on experience in BOQ preparation and analysis
- Knowledge of infrastructure project execution
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Familiarity with billing software and MS Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
- Relevant certification in billing or quantity surveying will be an added advantage
