Required Experience
Candidates applying for this role should have:
Experience in thermal power plant electrical maintenance
Hands-on knowledge of BTG (Boiler, Turbine & Generator) electrical systems
Experience working in 600 MW or 660 MW power plant units
Understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and shutdown maintenance
Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment efficiently
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
Maintaining electrical systems and equipment in thermal power plants
Handling routine and preventive maintenance activities
Monitoring electrical performance and ensuring operational reliability
Coordinating with operation and maintenance teams
Troubleshooting electrical faults in BTG systems
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and plant procedures
Supporting shutdown and emergency maintenance work
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess:
BE/B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering
4–9 years of relevant thermal power plant experience
Strong technical knowledge of electrical maintenance systems
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work in plant operation environments
