Position Overview

Role Purpose

The Senior Engineer – Project Controls plays a vital role in supporting the Planning Vertical Lead at the project site. The position focuses on project planning, progress monitoring, data analysis, and reporting. The role ensures that accurate project information is available for timely decision-making and smooth execution.

This position requires close coordination with site execution teams, operations, and planning leadership. Engineers in this role are expected to highlight deviations, support recovery planning, and contribute to overall project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update detailed project schedules and work breakdown structures
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress at the project site
• Analyze planned versus actual progress and identify deviations
• Support cash flow planning by providing accurate progress data
• Coordinate with site teams to capture execution details
• Maintain standardized planning and reporting formats
• Escalate critical issues and red flags to the planning leadership
