Job Purpose

• Lead and manage Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) activities
• Oversee engineering and maintenance operations for manufacturing and development facilities
• Ensure asset reliability, safety, compliance, and operational excellence across Hyderabad locations


Key Responsibilities

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to EHS, safety, and quality standards
• Drive a strong EHS culture across engineering and maintenance teams
• Monitor and review safety metrics and ensure zero-incident targets
• Ensure completion of mandatory safety, data integrity, and compliance trainings
• Maintain full compliance with QMS, regulatory, and statutory requirements


Engineering & Maintenance Leadership

• Lead engineering and maintenance teams for facilities, utilities, and discovery chemistry projects
• Accountable for upkeep, upgrades, and continuous improvements of utilities, equipment, electricals, and instrumentation
• Ensure SOPs, validation protocols, preventive maintenance, and calibration schedules are followed
• Deliver maintenance SLAs with high safety and quality standards


Asset & Reliability Management

• Manage full asset lifecycle using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and SAP PM modules
• Implement Asset Integrity, Reliability & Process Safety Management (PSM) standards
• Drive equipment effectiveness and best-in-class maintenance practices
• Oversee asset installation, operation, maintenance, and retirement


Budgeting, Audits & Vendor Management

• Prepare monthly MIS, OPEX and CAPEX budgets for engineering utilities
• Support successful audits and client inspections
• Develop vendors and coordinate with strategic sourcing teams
• Approve purchase orders for major equipment, spares, and consumables
• Promote cost-effective procurement and engineering practices


Energy & Operational Excellence

• Analyze daily energy and utility reports
• Optimize energy consumption and operating costs
• Apply Lean Six Sigma principles for efficiency improvements


Team & Stakeholder Management

• Build, mentor, and motivate engineering teams
• Coordinate with HR on recruitment, performance appraisal, and manpower planning
• Collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels


Educational Qualification

• BE / BTech / Diploma in:
– Mechanical Engineering
– Electrical Engineering
– Instrumentation Engineering


Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong knowledge of Engineering Maintenance & Asset Management
• Experience in Clean Utilities, MEP systems, and cleanroom facilities
• Understanding of Pharma / Biotech manufacturing environments
• Proficient in MS Excel (data analysis) and MS PowerPoint
• Exposure to project management and bioprocess operations preferred
• Sound knowledge of EHS & EHSS practices
